Getting It Right: Determining Minimum Requirements for Annual BSL3 Facility Performance Verifications
April 2, 2012 - The BMBL and other biocontainment industry guidelines or standards mandate that an annual performance verification process be executed for ABSL3 and BSL3 facilities. Owners of these facilities have decisions to make regarding how verifications are to be done. This presentation will address current verbiage in the guidelines and standards, goals of the verification process and methods to meet those goals. In other words, we will discuss WHAT the guidance is, WhY facility owners should determine their facility's condition and HOW to conclusively and effectively verify performance annually.
